It's not too often that I'm up before the sun, but there's nothing quite like the soft early morning light of the rising sun. This was taken at Middle Cove beach when I went to fetch some capelin for my father. It was an absolutely beautiful morning to watch the sun rise. The greater than normal density of sea birds (gulls in this case) can be attributed to the fact that the capelin were in. And as the wise bird on Finding Nemo put it, "Fish gotta swim, Birds gotta eat".
